Harlow School of Journalism ‘best in the country’ – Robert Halfon

HARLOW is set to become the public health science capital of the world according to Robert Halfon, Conservative parliamentary candidate for Harlow and its MP until parliament was dissolved this month, November.
At a meeting with students from Harlow College School of Journalism he said “No-one does public health like we do. We are the best in the world.” He added that the advent of Public Health England in Harlow would lead to thousands of jobs becoming available.
Mr Halfon said that one of the highlights of his career as an MP had been to see a successful end to five years of lobbying for a new hospital for Harlow.

He told students that one of his passions was to develop apprenticeships so that they could be available to every young person in the country. He would also be supporting Harlow Council in the regeneration of the town centre.
Mr Halfon told the budding journalists “Harlow has the best journalism school in the country and Harlow College is, in my opinion, the best in England.”
