ON MARCH 8 schools and colleges were allowed to re-open as the government began to ease lockdown restrictions in the planned roadmap out of lockdown. Since the turn of the year, it has been a tough time for both students and staff of schools and colleges, having to do lessons all from home on either Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Students especially have certainly missed out on valuable face-to-face interaction with teachers but now places of education have re-opened, the return will have proved to be beneficial.
Three weeks on from the re-opening, Harlow Harrier reporter Matt North spoke to students on the NCTJ Journalism course at Harlow College to get their thoughts on being back in college and what they have missed from not being there.
Students interviewed in order were: Lloyd Evans, Daniel Luker, Lucia Banks and Clare Eggenton.
