LITTLE Parndon Primary Academy has had a brand-new computing suite installed.
This dedicated suite will allow the school in Harlow to complete the computing curriculum and will give the education of young children a huge boost
Headteacher Mark Evans said: “Our computing and e-safety lead Paige Wakelin has created a really exciting, engaging and challenging curriculum to run alongside our new facilities.
Until now, pupils from Little Parndon have been taking their computing lessons gathered around shared equipment in their classroom.
Mr Evans was thrilled with the new addition to the school: “We are delighted with our new computers. We now have state-of-the-art technology for children to learn from.”
He believes computers are a must in today’s world: “I believe computing is such an important lesson for the children to learn, especially in this modern world. The facility will also enable us to enhance other subjects as pupils will be able to carry out research, produce PowerPoint presentations and other documents to support their learning.”
The suite has been set up in a formerly unused classroom where students will spend time each week.
