Journalism students discuss major issues facing Harlow Council

HARLOW College students studying for the National Council for the Training of Journalists Diploma (NCTJ), met Harlow Council chairman Clive Souter and head of governance, Simon Hill, to find out more about the workings of the council and plans for the future of the town.

Alex Beaney, 21, said: “We are very grateful to Cllr Souter and Mr Hill for giving up time out of their busy schedules to explain how the council works and answer any questions we had. It was a fantastic learning experience and we are now planning to write follow-up stories.”
